| Resumo | El presente trabajo pretende ofrecer un instrumental con el cual el Area de Educación Cristiana de la Iglesia Metodista en Cuba (IMECU) pueda trabajar en la elaboración futura de los materiales de Escuela Dominical que esta Area produce. En en tal sentido, el primer capítulo presenta un breve panorama del movimiento metodista, su inserción en Cuba, sus aspectos teológicos principales y el desarrollo de la Educación Cristiana tal y como se está dando en la IMECU hoy. El segundo capítulo observa los conceptos de Educación Cristiana, Escuela Dominical y Educación Popular, la relación entre Educación Cristian-Educación Popular y dos aspectos que deben ser considerados para la elaboración de los materiales: la relación educador/a-educando/a y la contextualización. La tercera parte esta dividida en tres grandes puntos: en el primero se pretende aportar algunos criterios didácticos que pedan auxiliar en la elaboración de los materiales de Escuela Dominical, y se destaca la importancia de conocer a los destinatarios/as de estos materiales que son los/as adolescentes, en el segundo punto serán analizadas 2 unidades de dichos materiales, y en el último punto se desea ofrecer un instrumental que posibilite la elaboración de materiales de Escuela Dominical acorde con las necesidades de la IMECU. |
| Abstract | This thesis proposes to offer a tool with which the Christian Education Area of the Methodist Church in Cuba can work in the future development of Sunday School material that they produce. In this respect, the first chapter presents a brief panorama of the Methodist movement, its insertion in Cuba, its main theological aspects and the development that is going on in Christian Education currently in the IMECU (Methodist Church in Cuba). The second chapter studies the concepts of Christian Education, Sunday School and Popular Education, the relationship between Christian Education and Popular Education and two aspects that need to be considered in the elaboration of material: the relationship of educator and student and contextualization. The third chapter is divided into three large points: in the first part one intends to deal with some didactic criteria that can help in the elaboration of Sunday School material and emphasis is placed on the importance of knowing the receivers of these materials, which are the adolescents. In the second part 2 units of these materials will be analyzed and in the last part one wishes to offer a tool that can enable the elaboration of Sunday School materials in accordance with the needs of the IMECU. |
