Resumo Esta dissertação investiga a relação de parceria entre os ritos religiosos e a conversação como instrumentos mediadores da graça de Deus no aconselhamento pastoral hospitalar. A humanidade não vive sem ritos, pois estes organizam e estruturam a vida social e espiritual. Os ritos são repletos de símbolos, que evocam muitos significados. Os ritos religiosos têm a função de auxiliar as pessoas em crise a se aproximarem de Deus e permitir que Deus se aproxime delas. São a experiência e os sentimentos das pessoas, a partir da fé cristã, que garantem a eficácia dos ritos religiosos. O caráter polissêmico dos ritos lhes confere uma dimensão terapêutico-curativa diante das situações de sofrimento. A conversação pastoral é tão importante quanto os ritos religiosos. Ela é a fundamentada no paradigma da integralidade, do respeito, do amor, da empatia e é uma maneira de ação do aconselhamento pastoral. A pessoa humana é a razão da existência do aconselhamento pastoral. Seu objetivo consiste em ampliar o conceito de cura para além do significado de ausência de doença, visando o bem-estar completo do ser humano. A pastoral hospitalar também se apropria do conceito de cura integral para direcionar sua ação. Ela não prioriza uma ação sacramentalista, mas inclui os sacramentos como elementos terapêuticos.
Abstract The dissertation investigates the relation of partnership between the religious rites and the conversation as mediator instruments of God’s grace on the pastoral counseling. The human beings don’t live without rites, for they organize and structure the social and spiritual life. The rites are full of symbols that call fourth many meanings. The religious rites have the function of helping people in crisis to approach God and to allow God to approach them. The experience and the feelings of people according to Christian faith are what guaranty the efficiency of the religious rites. The "polissêmico" (polyvalent) character of the rites confeeres them a healing therapeutic dimension before the suffering situations. The pastoral conversation is an important as the religious rites. It is established on the paradigms of the integrality, the respect, the love, the empathy and its also a way of acting of the pastoral counseling. The mankind is the reason of the pastoral counseling existence. The pastoral counseling objective is to enlarge the cure concept for beyond the significance of infirmity absence, aiming the complete welfare of human beings. The hospital pastoral also makes use of the concept of integral healing to direct its action. It doesn’t take priority of "ação sacramentalista" (the action of performing the Sacrament without any conversation) but it includes the sacraments as the therapeutic elements.
