| Resumo | Uma análise do canto utilizado como recurso na Educação Cristã de infanto-juvenis. Na primeira parte é examinada, criticamente, a presença da música e do canto em dois contextos da sociedade de hoje: a TV e a NOVA ERA. O primeiro item contempla a presença da música e do canto na comunicação televisiva a partir de dois gêneros selecionados como exemplos: o comercial e o show. Analisa-se o impacto neutralizador da TV sobre os seus telespectadores (com destaque às crianças) e como a música e o canto colaborar para reforçar este impacto. À base da reflexão está a compreensão da invasão musical televisiva como fruto das tendências de globalização contemporâneas. O segundo item aborda a música na NOVA ERA. Situando-a dentro do quadro de uma religiosidade pós-moderna com fortes tendências a individualização, se busca exemplos de como a música e o canto estão presentes nas tendências religiosas dos dias atuais. Será dada especial atenção às formas com que ambas abusam das possibilidades que a música e o canto oferecem, com o fim de atingir seus objetivos. A segunda parte apresenta uma conceituação e aproximação fundamental e básica dos três elementos principais envolvidos na pesquisa: o canto, a criança na idade escolar e a educação cristã. O canto é apresentado como uma capacidade potencialmente natural na criança, como meio de comunicação ativo em seu dia-a-dia e como arte de forte influência sobre seu público. A criança é analisada sob o aspecto do desenvolvimento. Cinco enfoques são destacados: cognitivo, psicossocial, moral, da fé e musical. A Educação Cristã é vista numa perspectiva contextual-latino-americana. Inclui-se uma apresentação da diversidade de ênfases práticas existentes e um posicionamento quanto a caminhos para uma Educação Cristã considerando tal realidade contextual. A terceira parte, finalmente, inclui uma análise do conteúdo dos cantos presentes na Educação Cristã de infanto-juvenis na IECLB. O caminho a ser seguido abrange três passos: 1) especificação dos cantos e cancioneiros que servirão de base para análise; 2) apresentação do critério ou perspectiva sob a qual se propõe a análise; e 3) efetivação da análise. A abordagem leva em consideração a/o infanto-juvenil e a Educação Cristã conforme apresentadas na segunda parte e o que foi descoberto a respeito da realidade do canto na TV e da música na Nova Era, conforme a primeira parte. Defende-se, assim, que a presença do canto na Educação Cristã de infanto-juvenis se dê o mais afinada possível com uma perspectiva cruzcêntrica que almeja o equilíbrio entre relações verticais (que consideram Deus e o/a infanto juvenil) e horizontais (que têm em conta a relação de infanto-juvenis entre si). |
| Abstract | The purpose of this dissertation is to offer an analysis of the song used as a resource on the Christian Education of pre-teenagers. On its first part, it is critically examined the presence of the music and the song in two contexts of today’s society: the TV and the New Age. The first topic contemplates the presence of the music and the song on the telecommunication from the two selected kinds as examples: the commercial and the show. It analyses the neutralizer impact of the TV upon its televiewers (specially with the children) and how the music and the song collaborate to reinforce this impact. The base of this reflection is on the comprehension of the televisive musical invasion as a fruit of contemporary globalization tendencies. The second topic broaches the music on New Age, placing it in the context of pos modernity religiosity with strong individualization tendencies. In this matter, we look for examples of how the music and the song are present in religious tendencies nowadays. It will be given an especial attention to the ways on how both abuse of the possibilities that the music and the song offer with the purpose of reaching their goals. The second part presents a fundamental classification and approach of the three mainly elements enclosed in this research: the song, the child on school age and the Christian Education. The song is presented as a child natural potential capacity, as a daily active communication way, and also, as an art with a strong influence upon the public. The child is analyzed under his/her development. Five ways of enfocussing are detached: the cognitive, psychosocial, moral, of the faith and musical. The Christian Education is seen on a Latin American contextual perspective. It’s also included a presentation of the existence of practical diversity emphasis and an attitude regarded to the ways to a Christian considering the contextual reality. The third part, finally, includes an analysis of the content of pre-teenagers Christian Education songs in the IECLB. The way to be followed, includes three steps: 1) a specification of the songs and the hymnals which will be the base for the analysis; 2) a presentation of the criterion or the perspective according to which the analysis is proposed; 3) the analysis accomplishment. This approach considers pre-teenagers and the Christian Education as presented on the second part and what has been found about the reality of the TV songs and the New Age music, according to the first part. Therefore, it’s sustained that the presence of the song in pre-teenagers Christian Education occurs as much tuned as possible with the cross center perspective that longs for an equilibrium between the vertical relations (Which consider God and the teenagers), and the horizontal relations (that regard to the relation between pre-teenagers). |
