| Resumo | Esta dissertação estuda o conceito diaconia na perspectiva feminista. Ela parte da hipótese de que a tradução de diaconia por serviço, no sentido de assistência, induz as mulheres a negarem-se a si próprias em prol do cuidado a pessoas que necessitam ser assistidas. Essa suspeita conduziu ao objetivo deste estudo, qual seja, ressignificar o conceito diaconia, com base na Teologia Feminista, e mostrar as implicações teóricas e práticas dessa ressignificação. O estudo apresenta a forma como a IECLB (Igreja Evangélica de Confissão Luterana no Brasil) concebe o conceito diaconia e busca compreender, nesse contexto, a relação existente entre diaconia e mulheres. Além disso, a pesquisa apresenta o pensamento teológico-feminista a respeito do assunto diaconia. Especifica as dificuldades e as possibilidades do feminismo com o conceito diaconia e busca entender a leitura feminista da relação entre diaconia e mulheres nos primórdios do cristianismo. Ao fim, o enfoque é dado ao conceito feminista de diaconia e as implicações teóricas e práticas decorrentes dessa conceituação. A diaconia feminista surge, então, como proposta alternativa à vida de servilidade de muitas mulheres. |
| Abstract | This dissertation is a study of the concept of diakonia in a feminist perspective. It begins with the hypothesis that the translation of diakonia as service, in the sense of assistance, leads women to negate themselves in favor of taking care of people who need assistance. This suspicion led to the goal of this study, which is to give new meaning to the concept of diakonia, based on feminist theology and to show the theoretical and practical implications of this new meaning. This study presents the way the IECLB (Igreja Evangélica de Confissão Luterana no Brasil – The Evangelical Church of the Lutheran Confession in Brazil) understands the concept of diakonia and seeks to comprehend, within this context, the existing relationship between diakonia and women. Besides this, the research presents theological-feminist thinking with respect to the subject of diakonia. It specifies the difficulties and the possibilities of feminism with the concept of diakonia and seeks to understand the feminist interpretation to the relationship between diakonia and women in the beginning of Christianity. At the end, focus is placed on the feminist concept of diakonia and on the theoretical and practical implications resulting from this concept. The feminist diakonia comes forth then, as an alternative proposal to the life of servility of many women. |
