| Resumo |
O uso de vestes paramentais no contexto litúrgico da Eucaristia ou Ceia do Senhor não é algo aleatório e irrelevante. Independentemente de sua cor e forma, as vestes ali usadas fazem parte de um conjunto de lugares, com os quais a Igreja marca sua presença no tempo e no espaço. Tomando como referência a obra redentora de Jesus Cristo, o presente estudo procura mostrar, à luz de dois momentos da História Eclesiástica – a Reforma Luterana no século 16 e a Reforma Prussiana no século 19 – que as vestes paramentais tanto podem assinalar uma celebração em termos de gratuidade e festa, quanto podem assinalar uma dominação clerical autocelebrativa. |
| Abstract | The wearing of liturgical vestments in the liturgical context of the Eucharist or the Lord’s Supper is not something random or irrelevant. Independently on their color and shape, the vestments worn during the worship take part on a conjunction of places, with whom the church points out its presence in time and space. Taking as a reference the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, the present study, enlightening two moments of Church History – the Lutheran reform at the 16th century and the Prussian reform at the 19th century – tries to show that the liturgical vestments can either assign a celebration in terms of gratuity and feast or assign a clerical self-celebrating domination. |
