Resumo

Tendo por tema Liturgia e Negritude, este trabalho baseia-se em pesquisa bibliográfica e objetiva: resgatar aspectos litúrgicos afrodescendentes presentes na liturgia reformada brasileira, sem serem oficialmente reconhecidos; buscar embasamentos bíblicos-teológicos, históricos e científicos, para a realização de estudos, reflexões, discussões, com vistas à realização de uma liturgia  inculturada, na qual os cristãos afrodescendentes, membros de Igrejas Protestantes Históricas de tradição calvinista, possam expressar sua fé sem negar suas raízes étinicas e culturais. O primeiro capítulo informa sobre a vinda do negro africano escravizado para o Brasil e a postura das Igrejas Históricas Protestantes em relação a essa população. O segundo capítulo versa sobre recuperação da negritude na liturgia, em que procurou-se trazer uma visão histórica dos cultos afros no Brasil, a importância do rito, corporeidade, espaço litúrgico, fundamentação biblico-teológica, apresentando também aspectos da inculturação. O terceiro capítulo é destinado as possíveis contribuições da liturgia afrodescendente para a vida das comunidades da Igreja Presbiteriana Unida do Brasil-IPU, para isso procura  mostar a IPU e suas Comunidades, o que é liturgia afrodescendente. Por fim, extrai do que foi apresentado nestes capítulos, a necessidade de despertar e instrumentar as Igrejas Protestantes e Históricas de tradição calvinista para uma mudança de sua práxis litúrgica instigando-as a rever o culto que celebram, a história do culto cristão, à busca de um renovar litúrgico em que sejam valorizados os ritos, a corporeidade, o espaço litúrgico à luz de uma fundamentação bíblico-teológica, em que se prestem o culto a Deus com entusiasmo e sinceridade, numa liturgia inteligente, com beleza e vitalidade enriquecida pela alegria e o jeito de ser afrodescente.

Abstract

Liturgy and Black Identity: an approach from the perspective of the United Presbyterian Church of Brazil (IPU)

With the theme Negritude and Liturgy, this paper is based on bibliographical research and aims: to rescue the afrodescendant liturgical aspects present in the brazilian reformed liturgy that aren’t officially recognized; to search historical, scientific and biblical-theological basis for the realization of studies, meditations, debate for the achievement of a transcultural liturgy where the afrodescendant christians, members of Historical Protestant Churches of Calvinist traditions can express their faith without denying their cultural and ethnic roots. The first chapter informs about the coming of the enslaved African black people to Brazil and the position of the Historical Protestant Churches in relation to this same population. The second chapter talks about the recuperation  of the negritude in the liturgy, where we tried to show the historical vision of afro worships in Brazil, the importance of rite, corporeality, liturgical space, theological biblical basis, presenting also inculturation aspects. The third chapter is designed to show possible contributions of afrodescendant liturgy for the life of the communities of the United Presbyterian Church of Brazil – IPU, for such it searches to show to the IPU and its communities what is afrodescendant liturgy. At last it extracts of what was presented in these chapters the need to awaken and to instrument the Historical and  Protestant Churches of Calvinist tradition for a change of liturgical praxis, instigating them to verify the worship they celebrate, the history of Christian worship the search for a liturgical renewal where the rites are valued, corporeality the liturgical space in the light of a biblical-theological foundation, where a worship intelligent liturgy with beauty and vitality enriched by the happiness and the afrodescendant way of being.
